The year is 2019. Well, at least it was to Adachi Narahiko before he drove down Mount Akina in his SA one night. Now, in an unfamiliar time in a once-familiar place, his wish to be in the 1990s had come true. The people he'll meet, the experiences he'll go through; oh, how ignorant he is of what was to come!

This takes place 1 year after the final race. This stage has more intense racing and has cars more powerful than ever. Many changes have been made and some have new cars that aren't completely different from what they were when the series left off. All the characters also gets new jobs and Project D reunites and finally, we get to know Bunta's backstory.

Alright, imagine this. You're a 17 year old Filipino boy named Lance Cortez, with an average family, but you have absolutely low grades, so one day, the apparent "government" decides to deport you to Japan... But wait a minute, this is in the 1990s, and what's happening during that time!? Of course, Touge Hashiriyas, or simply, "Mountain Racers". Why Japan of all places? We don't know for certain, but somehow, Lance's father had a history of racing back in the days... And he drove a Mazda RX-7. Read-on as Lance and the others not only face some unexplainable events, but also some romance? Supernatural stuff? And obviously, the intense car battles. (This is my first work, so don't expect it to be perfect.)

The soul of the people racing never died even after Project D has fulfilled their objective. as the time goes by, racers began showing up and battles of touge still being enjoyed to this day. Reiji Shiromu, a boy who doesn't know much about anything will make a new legend with his R32 and need to manage being in a new student in Uranohoshi and many challengers ahead.

But this time, it's not just her and her trusty 1989 Toyota Supra. Its clear she's not the same broken girl she was when she came here.
