The referee asked if we were ready and we both nodded 'yes'. As soon as the starting bell rang Vinnesa lunged towards me and I quickly dodged. "Stick to offence." my wolf told me. "She'll tire soon." I nodded and Vinnesa and I circled each other before she lunged at me again. I slid between her legs and quickly jumped back into fighting stance. She kicked at me and I yanked her foot back to where she fell on her back and I started to pin her. Her right arm made a jerking motion and a blistering pain rippled through my stomach. I stumbled back and held my stomach in a desperate attempt to hold my guts in. A crazed expression crossed her face and she flicked her bloodied hand in the direction of the referee and he flew out the cage doors and they slammed shut. Other people pulled at the doors but they didn't open. My blood pooled the floor and I wondered if this was supposed to happen in a initiation. Vinnesa lunged toward me again and blindly slashed her weapon side to side. She slipped in my blood and gave me enough time to dodge her attack.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magenta is a fifteen year old girl. Living in a human orphanage, she is adopted by other wolves. She just wanted to be loved by a family and got more than she bargained for. To know what you have to read the book. Give it a chance please!!

For the past thirteen years, Danny Sullivan has lived in his older brother's shadow. High school is nothing like what they portray in books and movies and I have had enough with the clichés! So I took it upon myself to give you a story that portrays the reality of high school. This story is about a girl who happens to be an outcast, but wants to gain some recognition and make her senior year unforgettable-I bet you're yawning with boredom-but I promise it's not your typical mainstream novel and if High School Musical taught us anything, it's that there's more to people than just a stereotypical shell.
