"Skin for skin." That's how the group rolled. Didn't make trouble but would get in trouble if someone started it first. Smoking, loitering, cussing, the whole package. That's how the group rolled, but not Malcolm. Malcolm was never one to pick a fight. He had good grades, was good at sports, and even had a job at the family barber shop. But one day, Malcolm meets a group that he initially thought were a group of outcasts, rebels, and wannabe gangsters, but they turned out to be much more. The worst part of it all was that they weren't what everyone made them out to be. They, Malcolm, were never the bad guys.

A young teenage girl, haunted by the memories of her father's execution, attempts to escape a cruel regime by night. A solitary woman, abandoned by her husband, inadvertently plays into the cruel hands of 'the state'. In another totalitarian regime a traffic light fixer is dealt with brutally for admiring a sunset. All these characters capture the essence of what it's like to be disempowered and cruelly dehumanised at the hands of a heinous, corrupt power. This sharp collection of pertinent short stories throws an at times uncomfortable light on cruelty, injustice and persecution that is all too relevant today. But ultimately these stories celebrate the strength and determination to survive at all costs, that exists within all of us.

The truth about schools in the United Kingdom is hidden, the issue is not spoken of, issues regarding inequality and injustice in UK schools aren't sorted out appropriately. Children are faced with ignorance. I have wrote this book last year before I began year 11 with the hope to get the message across. This poem is dedicated to all the people who have been betrayed by the organizations that were supposed to protect them. It was inspired by a small instance where justice was not served, but as I started writing it, I realized that there are so many major injustices happening every day. I alone may not be able to stop these things from happening, but I hope my words will inspire others so that together, we can make a difference.

It's a small poem based on never ending rapes in India. With bit of satire it focuses on the passive onlookers and how often the family of the victims suffer while the culprits are left to do such deeds again.

There are a lot of people from all over the world who views America as a really good country(Of course not everyone). But their view is mostly based on what America has to offer such as the opportunities that exists here. But to us Americans.... I won't speak for all of us but most of us knows for a fact that America isn't hardly great. It's not even close.
