Dustfinger is an orphaned teenage fire-eater in the kingdom of Argenta. His struggle for survival gets him entangled with Capricorn and his men. They break into the Castle of Night where Dustfinger discovers a strange connection to a shapeshifter named Gwin. This story can be enjoyed without ever having read Inkheart. This is not entirely canon because this started as an original story I wrote that I'm now changing into an Inkheart/Dustfinger fanfic because it was essentially already a fanfic in disguise lol

This is a one-shot I wrote, quite a while back for an assignment in a creative writing class. I had recently read the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke and wrote this as I felt the ending of the series needed a little more wrapping up. I'm not anticipating a whole lot of people reading this, or even being familiar with the series. This is my first posting on Wattpad after having an account for four years. Lol! Disclaimer: I don't own the characters used in this oneshot. It's purely fan-fiction!

What if Inkheart were real? What if you really could read books into real life? Halley Brooks is a bookworm. She loves reading. All her friends call it an obsession. One day, something mysterious happens. When reading one of her favorite books, a character comes to life before her eyes. After that, she decides to enter the book herself and finds herself landed in a world created by ink on a page. And the world in which she arrived is not at all the fantasy she had expected.

This is the story of letter, sent from Meggie to Farid. Your short story is now loading... Farid, the boy of fire, after two years, finally receives a letter with the girl he loves, Meggie Folchart. To FaridxMeggie fans: I hope I will not break you permanently. This made me break also. I just felt super inspired to write this and now I think I'm going to cry. Warning: Extremely extremely sad.
