This year I participated in Inktober 2021. Inktober is a drawing challenge which gives a list of words that artists are prompted to use for a drawing everyday from the beginning to the end of October. This is not a book of visual art, this is a book of poems. I wrote poems for each word prompt and posted them to my instagram - @theyoungwritress - as my way of being a part of Inktober. My drabble bin for Inktober 2021. Featuring a variety of characters. A definite work in progress. The only rule? 500 words or less.

A booklet of my artwork during the month. I got inspired to try out Inktober after seeing a post on Instagram by one of my friends who was also doing the challenge. I used Google Images for ideas and sketching works.

InkTober is originally a series of daily ink drawing "challenges", initiated by James Parker. Throughout October, a new word is given every day. I decided once again to try it out, with short stories/poems instead of drawings.

Basically my art dump. I mainly do realism and a lot of Marvel fan art/portraits, but they're not that good, but you're welcome to look through it.

Because I have little time to draw, nor any want to draw, I decided to attempt using the 2021 Inktober prompts in short stories this year. Most, if not all stories will include Trav/The Traveler. Several will likely include Clone Trooper Course, and others will feature different characters depending on the prompt. This series will likely go past October while I work to try and finish up all the prompts, which won't happen by the 31st. Either way, they will be nice little short stories to help get my creative juices flowing in some way.

Now a general Halloween/Inktober book~ have a spoopy time (edited 10/30/2021) 10/2/2021: For this year's spoopy month I'll be trying to draw something each day for Inktober's prompts! This is far from being professional. I'm gonna be posting doodles related to the prompt if I don't have time or energy to draw that day.

This is a collection of my Inktober 2021 entries. I decided to write it as a single story. I'm still not entirely sure of where it's going or if it even has a proper plot. Let me know what you think I can't write a summary since I, myself, have no idea what I'm doing but here's something I wrote in my notes: Stories based on horror and a bit of sensuality. So uhm, since October is like "the month of all things scary", I wanted my Inktober entries to still relate to that so most of these will be about paranormal stuff. "Because of a comet that passes earth every year, arriving at around the 273rd day and staying in orbit until the 304th day, October is known as the peak season of magical activity. With many beings believing the comet is the source of the sudden magic power up that happens for 31 days every year, Halloween began. It was like Christmas season but for monsters with decorations and celebrations galore. It is believed that the creatures only came out at night because they told humans that they were also just humans but in costumes and the humans believed them because they couldn't see properly in the dark anyway. These monsters started a trend that would go on for tens of years after their mass extinction."

So this is more of an exhibition than a story. Inktober is a challenge that has been happening in every month October. To do some sketches and art works every day for a whole month depending on the word of the day. Like in the list in the cover. I called it Pal. Inktober 2021, because well basically most if not all of my sketches in here are about my country Palestine 🇵🇸. My life's target and goal is Palestine and to back there and free it, and this is the reason of my existence, and my talent and art are a way in achieving this goal, or there's no need for it.
