This edition, we chose to seek inspiration from another form of writing, that of the word in meter and in rhyme, that which we know as poetry. Not just any poem, but one that speaks to what makes us, each person-or elder god-who we are. So join the eight authors inside and discover the traits that define us.

Inspired by a certain drawing project online, each chapter or story is a prompt that is issued to stretch the imagination and write something about it. These are my takes and the first time ever accomplishing 31 days. Some of these stories may unsettle. Maybe even frighten you. You have been warned.

Long before Inkwell Isle was a bustling city and home of the infamous Devils Casino Inkwell was a small and humble kingdom with a greedy ruler who made a deal with the devil himself. inexchange for his only daughters hand in marriage the devil would grant the kingdom vast riches and power beyond the King's imagination. Only problem was that the daughter of this king was merely 6 when the deal was struck so time had to pass before the deal could become a reality. 14 long years of famine, drout, and many a death of its people passed and not a day went by for our fair princess, Ester, that her father did not remind her of her up coming fate. Who could save our young maiden from becoming the queen of Hell and the wife of Satan himself? perhaps a king not by title but by name?

Bree and her husband, Gage, end up inside the fictional island of Inkwell Isle after an argument the night before. They must find a way around the islands in order to battle King Dice and the Devil so they can find their way back home before their hearts of health are deteriorated. With the help of a mysterious stranger, King Dice finally beats Cuphead and Mugman, the dynamic duo of Inkwell Isle. After banishing the brothers from their home, the former right-hand-man creates havoc in Inkwell with a gift from the stranger: a diabolical alter-ego named CupFang. As for the brothers, they are lost and alone on what seems like another world, known as Earth. There, they have a chance meeting with two new friends; a 'shocking' gecko called Flix, and surprisingly, another cup named RayCup. Through all odds, the group fights their way back to Inkwell. With their new allies, can Cuphead and Mugman save their home before its swamped for good? {I do not own the Cuphead franchise. Only my OCs RayCup, CupFang, the Mysterious Stranger, the RifleBots, Zero and Flix}

The setting takes place in a casino, where Cups and Mugs are gambling their lives away. But once Mugs sees you on stage, he may have to set aside his gambling ways and start swooning on your heart.
