I dont expect this to get popular since the inmimb fandom is fucking dead so 😭 Y/N is an anxious, distant adult who has a job as a clerk in a candy store (spooky month reference) and a big hobby for writing that would often babysit their friend's child Embry, stopping after finding out that they had become seriously ill. Embry, in a state of panic, finds Y/N's phone number in a cabinet and dials the number in a hurry. Y/N, unaware of what was going on, goes to Embry's house with an emergency med kit (as Embry requested).

This might mostly be It's Not Me It's My Basement, but there'll be more so don't worry!

A few weeks after Dr. D Light had fallen into the pit that's called the basement which left Embry alone and afraid. Embry eventually snapped and made the decision to run from their problems, but they aren't alone. !TW: mention of death, Child abandonment, blood and a few others trigger warnings will be on each chapter!

what if dr. d. light didn't fall down the stairs? after embry begs him not to go down into the basement, dr. d. light and the child discuss what's happened to embry and her parents. even though they don't want him to stay here, dr. d. promises to help embry as much as he can. and so, he decides that he'll stay with embry until he leaves town to travel again. but someone doesn't seem to like either of them very much. embry already knows of this, but the doctor is about to find out. will the two be able to manage?
