'You don't see, you don't hear.' Those are the words that we live by. Anything else and we'll end up dead. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The life of a servant is one that drowns in silence and the niche to serve. To the Nartix, my kind is nothing. Hunted down for sport. In their eyes they don't see people who breathe, dream, feel, bleed the same as them. No, they see lesser beings unworthy of their presence unless they are there to serve, barely even then. But how can they miss the rise and fall of our chests? The bright eyes lit with a life of desires? The bump-bump of our hearts, the drip-drop of our blood? It is because those who can speak for us all are silenced. We don't see, we don't hear. But there comes a day when the distance thunder comes for the quiet prairies...

Ariana was abandoned as a newborn by a river, found and raised by the Aditya family in a modern-day Indian household. While her adopted father, Mr. Aditya, and the younger children shower her with love, her adopted mother, Mrs. Aditya, and her three older daughters-Priya, Ananya, and Radhika-treat her with nothing but harshness and disdain. Forced to wear thick layers of makeup and braces to conceal her natural beauty, Ariana is a target of ridicule at school, where the bullying only intensifies. As she navigates the emotional turmoil of her strained family relationships, Ariana struggles to understand her place in a world where jealousy and insecurity overshadow her true identity. Amid the pain, she clings to the love of her younger siblings and her own quiet resilience, determined to find her path and define her worth beyond the cruelty of those around her

This poem is kinda ironic because I'm not one to talk about self worth or confidence because right now I'm in a low point of my life where family and life overall is being a bitch and I'm just here trying to figure out who the hell I am before I turn into my parents, because I really don't want that. I just think this poem came out of a confidence boost I got somehow by reaching inside me and pulling out a little strength. Idk. I'm just tryna figure out who I am, so this poem kinda helps me in a way, and I hope it helps you guys too! :) But anyways this poem might not be any good, so feedback would be awesome <3 Thanks for reading.

In Bridge Jumping, the reader meets Jaime Sawyer at the end of sixth grade. Jaime has two best friends, Hannah and Jess, but she also has aspirations of someday sitting at the cool table in the school cafeteria. She loves life and adventure and prides herself in being a daredevil. Jaime's uncomplicated innocence is shattered early in the seventh grade when she undergoes a traumatic experience, becomes ill and is forced to miss three months of school. During this time she recognizes the face in the mirror less and less as she struggles to hold on to the image of herself as a brave daredevil. The reader is welcomed inside Jaime's head and heart as she deals with the scary reality of living with Graves Disease. Jaime is frank and honest about how it feels to lose sight of the healthy girl she was. When she returns to school, she discovers the worst of the experience has yet to come. While she was out, rumors had abounded about where she was, and why she was gone. She finds herself in a very different place, socially - the cool table not only seems impossibly far away now, it's no longer even a thought in her head. The only thing she can think about is getting through each day - the teasing and name calling - and getting back to the safety of her home. By the end of the book, Jaime comes to realize that all she really needs to survive the treacherous journey of middle school is the love and support of her family, a true, strong belief in herself and one good friend. For those who have been through similar experiences, Jaime's journey may be comforting. For others, perhaps it will be eye-opening - shedding light on the ramifications of one's words and actions.

In a nation where noise is power and only the known survive, one young man dares to rise without a name, a voice, or a sponsor. Damilola is not your typical candidate. No party is backing him. No posters flood the streets. All he holds is a worn-out Bible, a burning vision, and a heart that refuses to give up. Mocked by friends, silenced by fear, and haunted by the weight of a humble background, Damilola enters a race that wasn't meant for someone like him - a race where the real enemies are invisible and the loudest battles are fought in secret. But could this unseen candidate be the answer a broken generation has been praying for? Will faith be enough when the system is against him? Or will his voice be lost in the noise? The Unseen Candidate is a gripping journey of purpose, rejection, divine calling, and the quiet power of a man who chooses to believe - against all odds - that destiny does not need permission. OVERVIEW: In a town where elections are bought with rice and lies, one young man is sent by God - not with money, but with a message. He's unknown, unqualified by human standards, and unprepared for the level of betrayal, warfare, and heartbreak that awaits. But he learns that even when no one sees you... God does. ---
