Sunny Day is not a normal fourteen year old girl. She lives with her mother, Cloudy, her sister, Rainy, and her two cats Snowy and Windy. Sunny's father left their family when Sunny was just a baby. Her mother is very open to talking about their father, but sometimes her mother is to open and free-spirited that Sunny needs a break. Her father needed a break and he left. Sunny can always talk to her grandmother, Eve, who is the perfect combination of free-spirited and sensible, and always gives knowledgable advice. One day her grandmother passes away and Sunny is left with her mother, sister, and cats. She only has one friend ever since the Protesting Incident, Lilith, who has stood by her side since they were two. Sunny is dealing with family problems, boys, friends, saving the environment, and finding out who she is all in one faithful summer. Sometimes Sunny Day just wants to fade away. **WARNING!!!
