A few miles outside the wall sits a small village of survivors. These survivors live in peace with nature and with each other. Everyone plays their part to make the system work and at the end of the day they can eat. Its not an easy life, but it works. Neither side bothered the other until one year ago. When the Rubies attacked the village to burn their crops and their homes. They also took a young man. He was a brother, a son, the future leader of the village.
