Follow the story of boruto as he tries to become a stronger shinobi with his fellow friends

I don't know how far I'll get with this or how often I will update but I will do my best. There is not much of a plot to it yet, I just thought of a beginning for it.

This story takes place 5 years after the Kawaki Incident. Boruto left the village with Sasuke to inherent as many of his skills as possible. Now at the age of 21 years old, he comes back to the village to find out his childhood friend/rival Sarada Uchiha is becoming hokage! This is my first fanfiction so I am sorry if I misspell something or say something false about the naruto universe. If you would like me to include something, comment down and I'll try to add it. One last thing, if I include any dead characters it is because I really like them, or they would fit into the story really well.

He said he would!” “Sasuto!” I grabbed his hand. “Mama…?” He says softly his eyes turning wide seeing my tears. “What...happened to papa?” Tears stream down my face and I can't control them. Even in front of my own son, a space ripping in my chest. The place where my heart used to be. “You’ll be home for dinner, right?” “Absolutely." “Oh...uh...really?” Something dark crept into his eyes. “Yeah.” I said examining him closer concern starting to creep up on me. “Is that a problem?” “No, of course not. Sasuto will be happy that you’re home early. I think he’s got his shuriken test today…” “He does.” I smiled. Even though I’m not home often I watch over him all the time. He’s very much like his father. Always loud; making a fool of himself. “I’ll congratulate him.” “Good. I’ve uh...gotta go now.” “What for? You don’t have-” “I’ve got a meeting with your dad actually, ”Scratching the back of his head. “Not sure what it’s about. But I should be home before you. Oh, and Sarada?” “Yeah?” I turned. “I love you. You know that?” “Of course.” “Alright.” He said blushing red. “Just double checking.” “Sakuto…” I cried into the jacket. “Your papa...he’s…” “Mama?” I force myself to meet his eyes, the pain shaking me from my core. “Your papa is gone.”
