Sakura tinha acabado a faculdade no auge dos seus 23 anos, pois ela acabou por fazer doutoramento também, acabando a faculdade, a Rosada conseguiu logo uma proposta de trabalho na qual ela aceitou de imediato. Sakura iria trabalhar para uma prisão como enfermeira e psiquiatra, mas ela não iria trabalhar numa prisão qualquer, ela iria trabalhar na prisão mais perigosa de Konoha, a prisão situava-se na fronteira conhecida como "Vale do Fim", na qual deu o nome a prisão também. Sasuke era uma pessoa muito reservada e cega pela vingança, o seu objetivo eram apenas dois, matar o seu irmão mais velho "Itachi" pelo massacre ao clã Uchiha à um par de anos atrás e finalmente se reencontrar com a sua irmã que desapareceu depois da matança ao clã. Sasuke corre pela sua vingança e depois de a cumprir acaba preso na prisão onde irá encontrar a Rosada como sua psiquiatra. Sakura e Sasuke quando eram mais novos, ambos tinham frequentado a mesma escola, nessa altura o Sasuke era muito popular entre as meninas, mas ele realmente não ligava nenhuma para elas à excepção de uma que apenas lhe chamara à atenção sendo ela a Sakura. Já na prisão, o Uchiha lembrava-se dela e a Sakura com certeza se lembraria de quem é o Sasuke (afinal era apaixonada por ele), então ela esqueceu-se dele parcialmente por escolha, trauma e afastamento.
