On a mission gone wrong, Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka are captured by rogue shinobi with ties to a past Team 10 operation. In a cell, Sakura is forced to rely on Ino, but when their escape attempt leaves Ino severely injured, it's Sakura who has to keep them alive, travelling across the elemental nations, healing her with every step, in hopes of getting them home. All the while Sakura is faced with a battle she never expected, understanding the feelings she's always buried for Ino.
