Kai is broken. Like shattered glass strewn apon the table. Like smashed china plates, apon the floor. He is the kind of broken that can be glued back together, but he will never truly be whole again. There will always be those cracks, those memories, and the more he tries to forget, paint over them, the clearer they become. It takes someone who truly cares to see past the cracks, see what was once there, what is still there.
