JESSOP 'JESSE' VAN DER CORTE is the prince of Ginvera (that's a country somewhere in the world) and next in line for the throne. He just turned 20 and didn't think that he'd have to worry about ruling the country anytime. However, when his father is diagnosed with cancer and has a year to live, all eyes are on Jesse. He has to learn the tricks and trades of becoming a king and ruling the people of Ginvera. He accepts his fate and trains to take his father place on the throne. He will do anything not to disappoint his family until he comes upon a rule that he has to be married to take the throne. He cannot abide by this rule because he's GAY! And not the one that equals happy. He's been in love with his best friend Jeremy for years and they have kept their relationship under wraps to avoid any scandals. Now Queen Gisele, Jesse's mother is searching for a bride for her son and will stop at nothing to get him married off due to her love for her country and hatred towards Prince Quincy, her husband's cousin whose daughter, Princess Elanora is second in line for the throne. What will Jesse do? Will he fight for his love or will he honor his family?
