Inscryption Stories

Looking back on it, Jimmy blames the garden for everything that's happened. After all, that's where he found the box, which led to Deepfrost, which led to this whole spiral of backsliding further and further away from the warmth of life. It had all started simply enough- with a dungeon, and with a goal- and had, over time, meandered into a world of beasts and bosses and dangers that Jimmy never had fully been able to grasp until it was too late, until he learned what Deepfrost REALLY was. But, that's a little too close to the end of the story. Let's rewind things back to the start, back to the beginning of the game known as Deepfrost. Let's talk about the first runs, the first deadly encounters, the first small victories. Or . . . perhaps you should be left to discover that on your own. After all, Deepfrost is a game that prides itself in its own immersive experience . . . in more ways than one. --- Deepfrost is an AU that is a crossover of the games Inscryption (by Daniel Mullins) and Decked Out 2 (by Tango Tek). You don't need to know anything about either of these to enjoy this story. If you don't want spoilers for the level design of Decked Out 2 or the layout of Act 2 and some of the overarching lore of Inscryption, I would consider not reading this fic, or at least leaving it for later :]

Spoilers for Inscryption and Wings of Fire (Arc 2 onwards) Leshy and Darkstalker, two individuals who were very similar at first, were long separated by the fact that they never even existed in the same world. But now Leshy, the Scrybe of Beasts, had his perfect endgame. Now, they meet as Leshy, now an orphaned hybrid that is half-NightWing and half... something else, hatched beneath the three moons as well, at the same time as the animus. Will Leshy help Darkstalker avoid the fate of every animus, or will Darkstalker pull him down? However, there is one rule that, try as he might, Leshy could not break. In the beginning... The world did not know cards. That is... Until the the day The Scrybes arrived. Four beings, so similar yet so vastly different in all attributes. With the cards created, The Scrybes had solidified their power. As well as the near death of their world and the secrets hidden in the murky water and tainted soils. This will have very little to nothing to do with the arg aspects of the game, but there are still heavy spoilers and references to the original game as well as the Kaycee's mod dlc. During the making of Act 1, Fawna the scrybe of hope had failed to save her fellow scrybes from being turned into cards by Leshy. This will be a telling of what happened during their time as cards before Luke found Inscryption. (hello, this is a collab between me and my friend -CosmicRarity- I hope you enjoy) (Inscryption belongs to Dillan Mullens(I think I spelt his name right) None of the characters are mine except Fawna and any other Oc's)

Lawrence is a gamer who stumbles upon a digital copy of the game, "Inscryption". At first it seems normal but soon he will uncover secrets buried in blood and codes long before him. (I do not own inscryption or any characters from the game)

P03 and Lord Business fall in love at a coffee shop

If you don't know the game, search it on YouTube. ><><>< Once upon a time in a land forgotten in time, there lived two souls who fell in love at first sight. One tied to machinery while the other one with magic. They knew they couldn't be together, yet that didn't stop them from living a happy life in each others' arms... ...but that was before a whistleblower had spotted them as they played a card game... No matter where they went, they were captured and sentenced to death by sunrise... The magical soul had to watch as their lover's heart was ripped out of their chest by those who stood between them. A spell was said as they readied the melting pot for them to burn inside. If they were truly each others' soulmates, they will meet again in another lifetime until they can finally be free to love each other without the constant fear of separation. Not to mention that those who dare to deprive them of each others' embrace will suffer greatly until the two souls live a happy life. That night, the wind howled as the magical soul had been thrown into the melting pot as the spell was put into motion. Unspeakable things had fallen upon the land and the people who lived there as time eventually covered up the remains of a lively place... People nowadays state that this legend is nothing more than a story letting it fade away in time...
