This is the first entry to a series of x-reader stories that I wrote during a dark time, it will still get updates just about every week. Lore: you being the reader, find your self in an unlikely relationship, that you feel is the one this story tell the time of your first month with her.

Being a member of society is hard. Being a member of the Royal Guard is harder. You've known this for a while now, but this listen is enforced ever more when you are assigned to be the only bodyguard for the Kingdoms Royal Negotiator. By the way, what kind of name is Blueberry? When the job is done, you think that's it. You'll never see him again. Sure you work with his family but there's no way he would go out of his way to see you - That is until he hires you as his bodyguard full time. You aren't a fan of this change, as it just puts more work on you. You never asked for it but it's not really your place to complain. You made a promise to you job, to yourself, and you'd rather die then break it. If he wants you to protect him, fine. You will. If you have to put up with his annoying ass "cousins" so be it.
