Have you heard the saying that "every rose has its thorns"? Meaning even the most beautiful things that exist in this world aren't perfect, because there's no such thing as perfect. Truth be told, all of us carry our own thorns-there are parts of ourselves we don't want the world to see, things that aren't perfect such as flaws, insecurities, wounds and broken pieces, because we fear that they won't be accepted but rather will only cause pain to the people who will try to hold us. In the end, if we do not accept our thorns, we will just push people away, as we continue to doubt our ability to love while carrying them. They will become shackles that will deprive us from loving ourselves and others completely and freely.
