Throughout this poem collection, I chart a painful descent from the chaotic, dizzying heights of infatuation into the quiet, hollow reality of self-deprecating loneliness and grapple with the agonizing friction between an overwhelming desire for deep connection and a protective instinct to retreat. Ultimately, the poems serve as a raw confession of vulnerability, capturing the exhaustive toll of putting others first, feeling misunderstood or valued only for utility, and patiently waiting on the margins of life for a breakthrough that feels devastatingly out of reach.

[19:4] Most days - which I wish would be all - I return to the recesses of the religion that raised me and of the faith that had kept my heart at peace for so long. We're all lacking - whether by sinning or by failing to fulfil our obligations to the fullest. However, I pray that we strive to be the best we can be. As a proud Muslim, as someone who's not afraid to advocate for Islam, though I may lack in knowledge, as someone who finds peace and safety in the bosom of this beautiful faith, I share with you my musings. Whether it is verses I've loved and/or pondered over, whether it is miracles within the Qur'an that I have learned of and find fascinating, or whether it is Nasheeds, I want to share them here. These are the musings of my surrendered, muslim heart. One that has only surrended to the Lord of the Worlds.

The concept of the "King of the Kingless" evokes the idea of a prophetic figure, an entity that arises in times of crisis or spiritual and social transformation. This king is not a monarch in the traditional sense, but a personification of an ideal, of a new era in which the traditional values of authority, dominion, and obedience give way to leadership focused on consciousness, cooperation, and spiritual evolution.

Radhika and Nick have been married for 15 years. Their routine has been perfected to precision. With two beautiful kids, decent careers and a quiet home, they have come to believe that they couldn't have asked for anything more. As the children grow older and further apart, Radhika and Nick are left grappling to really understand the essence of their companionship. After 15 years, they set out to rediscover who they are, to themselves and to each other. Set in a fictional urban village named Itaca, the story revolves around the couple and their questions on life.
