In Space with Markiplier (Part 1) fanfiction. Will follow the choices I made on my first watch of ISWM, plus some extra events and dialogue of my own and some of the easter egg choices for narrative purposes. Captain Alise has finally boarded the Invincible II to bring colonists to a new planet. However, things quickly take a turn for the worst when the spaceship gets trapped in a wormhole and Alise is requested to fix an apparent paradox alongside the ship's head engineer, Mark. Sequel to ~What Did You Do, Captain?~ After fixing the paradox Mark caused, the Captain prepares to settle the planet they finally reached. A few of the colonists and their families wake to assist, but one isn't listed anywhere. He woke in someone else's cryo tank and was taken to the on board prison to be questioned. When the Captain interrogates the man, who could be Mark's twin, he punches them knocking their helmet off...The Captain wakes from being hit, their sister knelt over them in their childhood bedroom. "Nyx! You have to be careful with the VR headset!" It was all a game? It felt so real.

Is it really over this time? The Captain can't help but be on guard, searching for signs that they've failed once again and becoming very protective of the people they hold dear. Especially their beloved head engineer, Mark. Their obligatory need to protect their crew, however, is strongly combated by the ever-lurking feeling of distrust for everyone surrounding them, including Mark. Observant, though usually oblivious, as always, Head Engineer Mark is all too aware of the spiral the captain has been captured in. He's battled with these same emotions all throughout the process of inhabiting the new planet, though he's chosen to remain hopeful. He takes it upon himself, being the only one to know what the captain is going through, to break through the walls the captain has put up and finally put their mind at ease. *Disclaimer: trying to keep the captain gender neutral, as they are in ISWM, but I may refer to them as female/fem-presenting out of habit.*

She did it. Snowball Jennings finally won her high school essay contest, which gave her the title of right hand to any scientist of her choice and a ticket to board the Invincible II. But things go quickly south when the Captain earns a blue crystal in the middle of their glove. Soon, Snowball has to deal with wormholes, paradoxes, and dare we say the end of the universe itself. These people look uncannily like Dr. Mark Iplière, but she has to be careful. If she says the wrong thing, this gets worse. But she just has so many questions. Since when did she make an acquaintance with a criminal from Boston? How did that pink man have the power to control the Space Time Continuum? Who's the old guy? And the most important question- can she save this? I do not own the characters and/or plot to "In Space With Markiplier". The only character/character arcs I own belong to Snowball. Welcome! ISWM just came out recently and i thought why the heck not make a RP book to celebrate! Have we been here before? Does this feel familiar? ISWM, HORNS, ETC BELONGS TO THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS.

After jumping from wormhole to wormhole, the Captain finds Yancy, who tries to sing them a song. The crystal starts to glow mid-song, and although they couldn't hear it, they couldn't stand the thought of Yancy's face when he saw that they were gone before the song ended.
