As a police sergeant in late 19th Century London, Edward Baker's life is quite routine. But that all changes the night an amulet and a large statue of the Egyptian god Set go missing from the British Museum. Now Baker has been assigned to work with a man many at Scotland Yard believe is only a legend: a detective ghost called the Inspectre, who specializes in paranormal investigation. But why get him involved? Is there more to this missing statue than meets the eye? Find out in the debut adventure of The Inspectre Series.
