***This story is not a "spin-off" of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins but it is very much inspired by the series.*** This story is about a dystopian society filled with many secrets and as usual is split into two classes; the wealthy citizens of the Capitol and the poor working families from the Colonies. The main character and the perspective from which the story is told from is Datura Palis, a quiet, hardworking, and beautiful girl from the Colonies who has experienced nothing but hardship ever since her older brother Asher died in a factory explosion and her father was beheaded for suspected acts of treason. Datura is determined to find a way for her family to live a better life and her hopes of doing so become reality when she finds out about the Druthering- an important event that only occurred every millennium which determined the girl who would become the Ketter, the woman who is to birth the next generation. The ruler of the Capitol; Omulus, one of the last living Paxdriarch, who were god-like creatures who founded the nation of Deliphnius whose only concern was continuing their familial line by any means. These creatures never aged but were killed off when a disease had plagued the nation, all except for one; Omulus. Omulus' view of women is that they should be seen and not heard and are good for nothing more than procreation. Fortunately for Datura, this makes it easier for her to carry out her plan of making a better life for her family within the Capitol. Though Datura is to be bound to Omulus until her inevitable end, that doesn't stop her from sneaking around with the devilishly handsome Jardin, a servant in the citadel. Whilst in the citadel, Datura uncovers something that just may put her and her family's lives in danger.

History isn't a new concept. Christopher Columbus crossed the ocean and discovered America. George Washington was the first president. The Queen of England never dies. For thousands of years, "average" people were making history in such a drastic way that no one looked into it. Nowadays, we know they had the smallest bit of what my generation has. People have had powers for millenia, although insignificant. Up until a few generations ago, we had no idea that humans were evolving so quickly. The first hero showed sometime in 1993. He called himself Power Man, as an homage to SuperMan, the comic book character. He was strong enough to lift a bus without breaking a sweat and claimed that without practice he was significantly less strong. He was even remembered with a statue in Washington D.C. when he died. Soon after, other "heroes" started popping up. They were making their cities a better place and enjoyed doing it. Some kept their identities a secret and some didn't. However, when you get heroes, you get villains. They started off as small as petty thieves or some sort of psychopath who was obsessed with rabbits. Soon, like in the past, gangs were built up. Heroes needed to step up their games and started fighting villains more often. Soon, heroes were being recognized and you could become one as a job. That's when everything went downhill. Heroes weren't there for the people anymore. They were there for the money or the fame. Some heroes are different though. Some friends of mine can testify to that.

It had been five years since the final fest. Five years too long. Forces had been rallying in the north, beyond Inkadia, calling themselves Side Order. They invaded Splatsville, starting one of the biggest wars there was, even bigger than The Great Turf War. No one knew if they were going to live, die, lose, or win. But, they also never knew what the five generals would do when they had the fate of the world in their hands.

Here is your summary... Aizawa has the class do mock villain versus hero battles. Due to some unforeseen circumstances (*cough* Nezu), the battles are now 2 villains versus 8 heroes. Pretty easy right? Wrong. Having the Problem ChildrenTM try to harm the other is actually so much better than when they work together. Who woulda known that?! This story includes... - Bakugo becoming fucking ecstatic for Midoriya being violent - People being shook as their precious class green fluff bunny kicks ass - Aizawa needing coffee - Nezu maniacally laughing from his many cameras watching the whole ordeal(cuz we all know he's everywhere) This story is also known as... That one fan fiction where Class 1-A want Bakugo and Midoriya to work together only to get their asses handed to them by the Problem Children. Something to note... I got inspiration from Hero Class Civil Warfare by RogueDruid (Icarius51) on AO3. This work is originally posted on AO3. Also, the only image that is mine is the cover. (And for that, I traced outlines of Deku and Bakugo...)

Despite the length of First Impressions, there are ACTUALLY more things I wanted to say, but decided against, in hoping to keep with the themes of the original story. While this can be read out of order from First Impressions, I recommend reading each chapter after the chapter indicated by the title. These deleted scenes will delve more into the sexuality that was behind-the-scenes, so to speak, in Austen's original novels. There will likely be explicit sexual content.
