People often think love begins with a confession. It doesn't. Confessions are merely paperwork. Love begins much earlier,inside ordinary moments that don't know they're about to become extraordinary. If someone had asked me that morning whether my life was about to change, I would've laughed. It was just another college tour. Just another bus. Just another attendance sheet. Just another face among forty others. At least, that's what I believed. Funny how memory lies. When I revisit that day now, the sunlight seems warmer than it probably was. The bus sounds louder. The laughter echoes longer. As if my mind has been polishing that morning for years, trying to justify what happened next. Back then, he wasn't "the one who stayed." He wasn't "the one who left." He wasn't even a story. He was simply a stranger who happened to be travelling in the same direction. And I... I had no idea I was about to spend years remembering someone I'd barely begun to know.
