World leaders in the fields, and just world leaders scrambled to find a solution... None of which was of any comfort to the 10,000 people already in the game. Especially not the ''bloody fool of an Englishman'' who'd gone into the game for escapism from his new life in Japan. So, what happens when said ''bloody fool'' decides to fight his way through the death game? Let's find out, shall we! A year and a half has passed since Sword Art Online was beaten, and the survivors have been doing their best to reintegrate into society. With the launch of the Augma, a new way to bring the real world and the virtual together has been created, such as the augmented reality game Ordinal Scale. But for some, like Koharu and her friends, it can be the thing that wipes away their memories of Aincrad, both precious and unwanted. If it means saving Asuna's memories and fighting an old friend, she and Jaymes will join Kirito's crusade.

On the fourteenth floor of Aincrad, Jaymes and Koharu continue their journey together in their quest to beat the game. Along the way, they encounter a girl named Sanya, who has a powerful sword that gives the user enhanced strength as it sucks the victim's health. But there's only so much a solo player can do, even with that power...can they teach her that lesson, or will it come at a deadly cost?

The seventy-fifth boss lair has been found, and SAO's top four players have been recalled back from their treasured honeymoons. On this memorial day, bear witness to the final moments of their trial as heroes of Sword Art Online.
