The Quiet Struggle follows the poignant and emotional journey of Katherine "Kat" Greene, a once-vibrant teenage girl whose life is forever altered after a devastating car accident. Left with severe brain damage, Kat wakes up in the hospital with little memory of her past and a future she cannot comprehend. Struggling to piece together the fragments of who she once was, she faces a world where even the simplest tasks are now overwhelming challenges. Unable to control her body, Kat is forced to rely on others for care. She wears diapers and needs assistance with basic tasks-her body and mind no longer in sync. Her speech is fragmented, her thoughts a jumble of confusion and frustration. Once independent, Kat is now like a child in an adult's body, seeking answers to questions she can't even fully express. As she navigates this new reality, Kat's emotional journey becomes one of quiet resilience. Through the compassion of her devoted mother, who remains by her side, and the support of her caregivers, Kat begins to find small moments of hope, discovering that despite her challenges, there is still a spark within her-a will to connect, to heal, and to reclaim a sense of herself. In this intimate and heart-wrenching exploration of identity, memory, and the power of human connection, The Quiet Struggle invites readers into the mind of a girl fighting to find her place in a world that feels both familiar and foreign. Through Kat's eyes, we learn that strength doesn't always come in loud victories, but in the quiet determination to keep going, one small step at a time.

Two rivals. One office. Ninety days that change everything. Jemima Jackson is the heart of Apex Urban Solutions, an architect who believes cities should serve people, not profit. Eleazar Jones is an engineer-a technical genius who trusts numbers over vision and believes emotions only get in the way. For years, they've disagreed on almost everything. Then their Managing Director isolates them in the same office and hands them the most important project of their careers. Long hours become longer conversations. Professional rivalry slowly gives way to reluctant friendship... and something far more dangerous. But just as the walls around their hearts begin to crack, tragedy strikes. The woman who always carries everyone else suddenly finds herself unable to stand alone-and the last person she ever expected becomes the one quietly holding her together. Because not every foundation is built with concrete and steel. Some are built when someone chooses to carry the load with you. Blueprint For Two is a slow-burn office romance about healing, vulnerability, and discovering that the strongest structures are the ones built together.

And now, the detail I'm changing - the twist that sparked this alternate story: drum roll, please... (just kidding). Like it or not, I've chosen to change one of the characters in the Losers' Club. The change I'm making is small, but its consequences ripple through the story in unexpected ways. In this version of IT, Eddie Kaspbrak is... well, not quite the Eddie we know. Instead, I introduce another member in the Losers' Club: a young girl named Nicole. Nicole Black is three years younger than the rest of the group. She lives in the shadow of her overprotective mother, who treats her like a fragile treasure, insisting she stay home, monitoring her health obsessively, and "curing" her of illnesses that exist only in her imagination, much like Eddie's experiences in the original story. Her world is one of rules, books, and careful observation rather than traditional childish playdates and mischief. But make no mistake: Nicole is endlessly curious, knowledgeable, and almost frighteningly precise. She has few, if any, friends, and she feels comfortable in her own company - a quiet little freak, fully aware of how dif erent she is. When Pennywise turns his attention to her, she has no choice but to step out of her solitary world. She joins the rest of the Losers' Club, approaching every strange and terrifying encounter with reason, always trying to observe, classify, and understand what she sees. At first, no one takes her seriously, mainly because of her age. Yet, despite her skepticism and scientific lens, the reality of Pennywise - the grotesque, shapeshifting horror that lurks in Derry - cannot be denied. Nicole, just like the rest of the Losers, comes to realize that some things in the world simply cannot be explained. And, gradually, Nicole Black grows into a more and more complex character as the story reveals several dark secrets and twists.

[Note: Shangri-la Frontier does not belong to me nor the characters belong to me. All rights are given to the author of Shangri-la Frontier: Katarina. (At least that's what Google-sensei said. If I'm wrong please correct me in the comments.] This Story follows a boy named Amane Furuya. After being pushed to play a game his sister recommended to him, he decided to play the game named Shangri-la Frontier for a change of pace since most of the games he played were Strategic and mind games. What will his experience be like? [Side note: I haven't read the manga The Light Novel or the Web Novel so I created my own timeline following the anime so please don't judge.]

It is not only an adventure in space, but also adventure in our very life. Space, is nothing but a space between worlds, between people, between ideas. Some are like us, some are hostile, some are different, how would you navigate through the space of life? In the 23rd century, humanity might no longer be alone in the the cosmos, but knowledge comes at a cost. Captain Aric Cole and his crew aboard the Odyssera explore anomalies at the edge of known space, where the line between science and the unknown blurs. The Odyssera is an individually-owned vessel-not a government or corporate project-but a ship for outcasts and dreamers seeking proof of their worth and purpose, a chance to explore with goodwill, and an anchor in the vast, unforgiving universe. From rogue satellites hiding secrets older than Earth itself, to AI questioning the nature of its own soul, and microorganisms defying the laws of life, every mission challenges not only their skills-but their understanding of reality. As the crew navigates quantum tech, interstellar threats, and mysterious signals that may be cosmic coincidences-or alien contact-Aric must balance leadership, friendship, and survival, while questioning what it truly means to be alive in a universe that may not care. Moderate-paced, high-stakes, and filled with thought-provoking tech, philosophy, and societal questions, this story is perfect for fans of hard-ish sci-fi with a human touch.

"You should go to sleep. That article can wait," she pointed out gently. "That remains statistically improbable." "The part about you going to sleep, or your article waiting?" Holmes smiled quite genuinely. "Both. I saw that article eyeing the Odyssey. I believe it intends to float away. And I have no intention of allowing that." London has become offensively mundane. Sherlock Holmes is beginning to bear inactivity far worse than he would ever admit. Baker Street is drowning in restlessness, irritability, and intellectual stagnation-until their flat is disrupted by a visitor Sherlock truly did not expect. Mycroft Holmes. The man who rules half of the British Empire with the cold precision of a chess grandmaster arrives with a request that defies all logic: he needs advice on a personal matter. What initially appears to be a minor social complication, however, gradually unravels into something far more dangerous-a situation that cannot be resolved by deduction alone. Genre: A psychological slow-burn set in Victorian London, focusing on people who understand everything except their own emotions. Updates: New chapters every Monday and Thursday. Note: Na mém profilu najdete také českou verzi tohoto příběhu!

...Most times, when one look at the world, the environment and the events or activities going on in it, one can see and hear things or issues one may like or dislike. There are things one will want to say, issues one will want to correct and advice or suggestion one will want to make if the chance or opportunity is given. However, even if there are such opportunities, one can reason with me that in a particular country, there are thousands and millions of people who will be allowed to speak and ear their views before it will ever get to your turn. Hence, for people to hear your view(s), ideology(s), suggestion(s), or philosophy without wanting for anyone giving you the chance or opportunity that may never come, you need and have to write down on paper those lucrative ideas and philosophy in your mind which will make that idea(s) durable, reachable and valuable treasure for your generation and the generation after yours to see, read and understand that ideas or philosophy in your mind and than learn from it. To this, one do not need to "acquire it all" - academically before he/she can write down the ideas in his/her mind. That is to say that one do not need to wait until one reaches Masters, PhD or Professor level before becoming a prolific, preeminent and creative writer or author... I have heard people say "Oh! I love writers and I love to write or be a writer, but I don't know how to go about that". So many people who have seen and heard about my books usually ask me as they wonder, "Ik, how do you do all these, you mean you sat down and wrote all these by yourself? Being opportune to interview and interact with some of them and to hear them orally, I imagined the kind of wonderful writers they will make. But they cannot write because of fear, doubt, low writing self-esteem, and no one to encourage, advice, guide or put them through on how to become good writers...

This isn't intense to be boastful nor Arrogant, but only to show a bit of my personal ideals of leadership and my philosophy.

When Saffiya the daughter of Mr Romano is married off to Lorenzo Vino, she must care for her wild and demented husband in her own way. And definitely make a name in the mafia, if she wants to survive. But what if her sister comes back for him. Will Saffiya willingly give him back and have her freedom or will she stupidly put up a fight with her own sister Ziora. ***** " Fuck you", he yelled at me as I kept on digging deeper through his flesh. "Come on sweetheart I would be the one fucking then", I grinned. "Ah ah ah baby I wouldn't want such filth touching you a bit", Lorenzo added as he strolled into the room. And to think this was even one of his most trusted men makes me laugh more. "And who cares about what you think", I snarled as he came closer. "You, of course", he smirked. "Wipe that ugly smirk from your face if you don't want me out of this room", I said putting on my angry look. "Wipe that pretty frown from your face-" "-Can you two stop playing lovey-dovey here", Rainy stepped in, thankfully cutting the idiot in.
