Intellect Stories

Some topics of my poems may appeal to some more than others, but that's with anything. I feel like the main purpose of my poetry is to be heard without feeling like I have to scream. As a female, almost any sign of emotion is taken as us being "crazy" or "over exaggerating." As a young black female any time that I share my voice, it is seen as me having an attitude. some people can't see past the stigma that years of mislead judgment has placed upon women, and women of color. thus, what we are saying isn't heard. So, i am choosing to write. What I write comes from the heart. Sometimes I write after thinking for a while, and other times I write what comes to mind. I write to vent. I write for the people that feel alone. I write for anyone that will read.

With an IQ of 139, Alex Thomas has a bright future ahead. When he graduated high school as one of the smartest in the nation, the government snatched him away to lock him up in one of their facilities to make him one of their top scientist. Being beaten and threatened throughout the years he has lost all contact with the outside world. Five years later after being locked away in a cell with no light but the artifical kind provided for him his old bully and crush, Jacob Waterman , comes to his barred door. "Your working for me now Thomas" Jacob says as he opens the cell bars. "Always been that way, hasn't it?" As Alex puts on his white coat his mind starts to wonder on the different ways this will play out with a smirk planted on his face. When his highschool crush takes Alex into a whole new world of danger and past pain, Alex is forced to confront his past that will gravely effect his future in more ways than you can count.

There's a new kind of light. A light that shines more elequently than the cruel deceptions of aristocrats. They shine past riches and rhymes like it's strolling down Charter Street. However does it bring happiness? A small story about a brother and sister revolted by societies entertainment and stubborn beliefs.

They see him as a savior. A voice for his people. A leader destined to uplift the Black race. But Obadele is none of those things. He does not hate-he calculates. He does not feel-he manipulates. His mission is not salvation, but erasure. Playing both sides, deceiving both Black and white, he rises to power as their Messiah. But salvation was never his goal. He took a step closer to me as if he didn't care of my hatred for him. His lips quirked up into a grin but when he saw how dark my eyes were that's when he stopped in his track but kept a safe distance all the same. Yet the grin never removed itself from his features. "What the hell are you even gazing at?" I frowned deeply keeping my arms crossed over my chest. He just looked at me with his alluring forest green hues spreading his grin into a smile taking a small step towards me. "I'm gazing at you Eveline... You're quite gorgeous when you're mad like this." His voice was as smooth as a crunchy peanut butter while his right hand grabbed onto his tailored suit. His chocolate feathery hair was flowing evenly within the wind. "I can't help but admire you like this." He finished off. I simply rolled my eyes shaking my head from his compliment. "Look, Ramon. You may use the same old predictable lines to the females in your business but I'm used to it all and I have my own line of work to run." I said turning on my heel getting ready to walk off but I felt a hand on my waist turning me around and now we were face to face. His hand was so warm and with the feeling it's shooting electricity through my system, as if I've been yearning for such a sweet touch like this. What on Earth is going on with me? He seemed shocked himself because his usual poker face was washed away and it was as if we were the only two people within his club. He bites his bottom lip letting out a small whisper. "I... Only meant to tease and yet.. I'm the one getting choked up now." My hands finally made their way towards his chest rising their way up to his feathery hair running through them while now biting my own bottom lip. "Well... Who knew the most cunning of them all could get choked up?" I responded just as soft and his chuckle sent shivers down my spine. He leaned in closely as I did the same.

" Stop Thief Stop" is an adventure filled romance between a book thief( young guy) and a teenage girl. " Physical Attraction is just a starter kick, but it becomes a double plus when mental attraction is there too" So they both share intellect, passion to make their dreams come true, love for books( esp romance) but there are several boundaries, life restrictions and problems just to be friends,let alone love!Love , something they only like reading in romance novels but something they do not want to admit to,when ambition is driving them"

What is the value of life when your future is already chosen for you? A man with an undiscovered genius wants to build a society for his planet. He struggles to see intelligence in any human and becomes self-centered. After raising a prodigy of a daughter, he begins to wonder if he is truly genius or not. Having someone he was close to changed his perspective of the state of his world. (A story written for school, so I had to keep it appropriate)
