We all know that main route of Re: zero tells us a story about a mere untrained guy getting into a cruel world full of dangers and injustice. But a lot of people who watched the show asked this question: why Subaru, why not someone more trained? Well, this novel will tell you what exactly would happen if we put a guy who lived through all horrors of Earth into a world full of horrors of Re: zero. Meet Yuri: a 19 year old from 90s Russia. His past haunts him, and he can't adapt to normal society. God knows how many terrifying events he had to go through, and, well... how many more he will have on his way?
