Intercession Stories

These are the lamentation of the one of the members within the Bride of Christ which is Jerusalem the holy city that yet has to be set down according to Revelation 21 verse 2 and 10. Being called to write lamentations unto the Lord, interceding on the behalf of mankind. Taking every thing to God in prayer with conviction and repentance, sadness and grief.

"Baba, this girl was the one that made that man jilt my daughter. His excuse was that, she willed all her property to him. And now, they have a child and my own daughter has refused to get married. Baba please what are we doing about this?" An agitated woman dressed in a yellow coloured brocade gown laments looking up to the old man dressed in a white turned brown lace and sitted on a tattered local mat in a room furnished with low stools, another local mat, animal skins displayed on the wall, a million cowries scattered in different directions and a segregated blood stained area of the room where in a red wrapper is tied.

It seems like they believe that they will never be good enough and pray long enough to experience delight in prayer. But talking to your heavenly Father should be a delight and something you can look forward to! Don't you agree? For many believers, their prayer lives have become a desolate battleground of personal failure. This is so unnecessary! A few slight adjustments can lift your chin as you look into the loving eyes of your heavenly Father!
