I, (Y/n), am a member of N.A.R.C.K. It stands for something I'll never remember. But what I do remember is that I work for them and I hop between different dimensions on the daily. It's all part of my job, but more recently, my higher up's found a dimension that was repeating back for a couple years now... they found it was some kid with powers and they sent me to go get him and cover him but I'm great at my job, and it wouldn't be the first time I've killed someone. Tristan agrees to help him get home, the least he could do because it was mostly his fault (and totally not because he has a crush on Gregor, or because of Gregor's compulsion magic or because he kissed him.) But then everything goes wrong when they get attacked by fire elementals who work for the demon Earl Alfred of Aleman who is also after Gregor's magic. The elemental manages to steal the shadow and now Gregor and Tristan must travel through different dimensions to get the shadow back and slip the Earl and his henchmen in the process.
