Interlude Stories

This is an interlude describing the three years between the Pevensive's visits. This story is not a necessary read, but it will entail what Aviena goes through and how she changes during the Pevensive's absence.

"Oh, no, child. He's not evil in the slightest. Evil is bad that believes with all its heart that it is good." Beginning in a battle between the kingdom's captain of the guards and a demon that threatens the kingdom, the normal struggle between good and evil rages. Three years later, when the kingdom has been overthrown by a coven of sorcerers who rule cruelly over the land, a teenager steps forward to try and stop them, joining with several strange other misfits, such as a unhappy rich boy, a one-eyed pirate, and maybe an illiterate demon who maybe is just as scared of himself as everyone else is.

Were we ever people? Or did serving at the pleasure of the president just help us shed our pesky skins and unmasks as monsters are we truly are.

This is the highly-anticipated sequel to my first Wattpad story, the immensely popular The Legacy of Dixie©: A Revolution's Night Dream and the first part of a two part story arc called the Darkness Saga: Trials of the Heart! It has been a year and a half since the end of the Revolution and reconstruction is complete. The world is slowly recovering from the wounds of the war and peace reigns supreme.... until a new evil appears on the streets of New Mobotropolis. Dixie, Banjo, and all their friends, old and new, must fight a new evil and discover that true darkness never dies....

From three episodes, the story takes place in between Volume I & Volume II of the Shattered Dreams Arc. Continuing after the events of Fangs & Claws, this interlude would tell what had occured after the finally of Volmue I & how this will develop our heroes further. After the climatic battle that occured in the Industrial District between our heroes againts the White Fang & the Black Claw, the former leader of the Top Hat Gang Crime Syndicate Frank Rustborn is planing to regain from what's left of his criminal empire & to re-establish his operations elsewhere. With the looming possibility of the new group returning to Vale, it is up to our young heroes to uncover the truth about their unexpected appearance & how they all tied to Axel McLay and his mysterious partner. All of this would culminate into a shocking & unexpected unveiling of a new power that one of our heroes would awaken after years of dormancy, but all of that would be told as we venture forth into the next chapter of the RWBY Dream Series.

I revised the lyrics, but kept the structure, and the melody the same as the original song. Note that this is a cover.
