WARNING: This story is going to revolve around some intense things that may be triggers for some. ~~~~~ "Your voice has a never ending echo. It loops in my head, driving me crazy. You're a drug that makes my heart pound and the only way to soothe it is to hear you sing." He took her hand and placed it against his chest. She could feel the thump of his heartbeat in her palm, like a drum. Her own heart was going wild as he inched closer to her. Closer and closer until they were almost touching. "Sing for me, Nella." He whispered. ~~~~~ Eleanor Reynolds' first love was her piano. Her second love was her childhood best friend, Gareth Reiner. Ever since starting their band, Underscore 3, Nella has dreamed of winning both Main Stage and Gareth's heart, landing a record deal, and going on tour across the world. Despite her dreams and hard work, their rival band, Under Oath--and their asshat leader, Oliver Kirkwood--has swept the competition every year. This year, Nella swears things will be different. And different, they shall be. When presented with a proposition allowing her to truly express herself as a musician, Nella does the unthinkable: teams up with Oliver Kirkwood himself. An unlikely duo, they take the stage disguised under the name Unknown & Anonymous, finally performing from their hearts. Combining her new companion, a strained relationship with her near-absent mother, and literally moving into enemy territory, Nella's life is about to take a turn. A turn that may lead to a third love.
