After encountering the Glittered Inktraitor, Mara and her brother Drave are sent back to their home planet Dusaro. A tea dispute forces the ship to crash land on planet Monshalow. While searching for help, Mara is captured by a fairy named Ireyna Roseshimmer and taken to Killian, who is overjoyed to reunite with his daughter. Mara learns of her father's knowledge of alternate worlds at the same time Drave learns of the fairy's involvement with an energy manipulator. The Decuir siblings and Killian work together to stop Ireyna from a precarious endeavor. A bittersweet consequence results from a simple wish gone awry, though a father's love always remains, even in another universe.

Aliens could be not always be hostile, or could not be exploring out of curiosity. Sometimes they do it out of need. But to compete, to conquere? What if they do it out of survival? Not many stories in my opinion do explore it in the last one in my opinion....or i just dont read enough such stories XD.
