This is another short story for one of my English classes. The premise is a modern twist on Dante's Divine Comedy. Mira leaves a rambunctious Halloween party only to find herself in a worse kind of Halloween, Hell. Before she can ruin her life, Mira is given a divine intervention, she will journey through Hell and eventually feast her eyes on Heaven.

The Fall of Lucifer In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He created angels to serve Him and carry out His will. Among these angels was Lucifer, the most beautiful and powerful of them all. He was known as the "morning star, and his light shone brighter than all others. But Lucifer's pride and arrogance led him to rebel against God. He believed he should be equal to God and refused to serve Him any longer. His rebellion sparked a war in Heaven, and Lucifer and his followers were cast out, banished to Hell forever. With Lucifer's fall, a new era began. The war in Heaven had caused deep wounds and divisions among the angels, and many now struggled with their own doubts and desires. The presence of the fallen angels in Hell brought chaos and darkness, and the once-harmonious realm became a place of eternal suffering. But even in the midst of this darkness, a glimmer of hope remained. The faithful angels, led by the archangels Michael and Gabriel, continued to serve God and fight for His will. And though they faced many challenges and trials, they held fast to their faith and trust in the Almighty. This is the story of Michael and Gabriel, two of the greatest archangels in Heaven, and their journey through the depths of Hell to serve God and restore balance to the universe.

When purity is adulterated, the innocent suffer. The hill land was supposed to be a sacred place but one wrong king messed it up. Of course the mess needs cleaning but who will and at what cost? The land must fulfil its original purpose, light must conquer darkness and goodness must triumph evil.
