Aude's life ends the night vampires slaughter her family and leave her transformed into one of them. When disappearances draw suspicion toward her, Aude is forced to run once more, this time with an ancient vampire who offers to teach her how to endure immortality. As she crosses kingdoms and centuries, Aude is pulled into wars, secrets, and dark alliances, all while hunting the vampire who destroyed her life and uncovering the truth of what she has become.
