Camilla has been best friends with Usnavie her whole life. Until highschool that is Camilla started to have feelings for Usnavi but she could never tell him that cause he is head over heels for Vanessa Morales. but maybe now that they're adults and Vanessa and Camilla are working at Daniela's and also living together something may finally happen. ok I just wanna say this is my own storyline but also kinda mixes with the movie and musicals storylines. !THERE WILL BE SPOILERS BOTH FOR THE MOVIE AND MUSICAL!

In the Heights fanfic some of it's based off the workshop version (mainly Benny's backstory because the Broadway version doesn't give a whole lot of information).

This is a fanfiction for the musical "In The Heights" by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes. This takes place two months after the musical, so it starts on Labour Day. Nina is going back to university, but is worried that her and her boyfriend Benny will drift apart. They have promised to think of each other each night at sunset. But soon, Nina gets distracted, and Benny stops calling. Benny is the only one who won't call or text Nina anymore, and eventually Nina gives up hope that he still wants to be with her.
