Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect? You see, it's a metaphor and people use it to help explain the large consequences, caused by little changes.
"the flutter of a butterflies wings on one side of the world, may have the power to create a hurricane on the other side."
In this story, it's not a butterfly that causes a great change in two peoples lives. In this story, it's a blue bird, who made a single wrong flap of its wings, and nearly lost one.
If it hadn't been for William, a 17 year old boy, who happened to be passing by just as the blue bird injured it's wing and picked her up.
If it hadn't happened outside an old shoe shop, and if it hadn't been fore the old lady, who sent William to Celestine, a 17 year old girl.
I wouldn't be here talking to you about the butterfly effect.
