You're about to embark on the first ever attempted 5 year mission. Everything goes great. Until a psychopath kills Captain Pike and warps halfway across the galaxy into the one place the Federation can't go. But, under the command of Captain James Kirk, you go there anyways. Or on the very edge of that place. Your husband, Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, doesn't want you to work on the Enterprise. He thinks you'll get hurt. But you can handle whatever space has to throw at you. Well, most of the time. When the mission starts, everything will change. Everything already has.

After waking up from a life changing experience, Kirk is once again thrown into the deep end as old enemies surface. Kirk is not alone, Emotions that everyone started to bury have resurfaced. Kirk must once again fight his way out of a situation that once again test the relationships of the crew and the crews physical limits. Will everyone make it out ok?

Now, with the help of Kirk and Chekov, and a few other returning friends, the pair of lovers fight for their lives while on the run, surviving only because of love and sheer determination. Will they both be captured, forced to spend the rest of their lives in prison, or will they continue to evade their followers? Or worse, will they be separated and lose each other again?

After Alana's rescue attempt becomes the laugh of the Enterprise, more trouble ensures after the mission to Exaltron, with the ship drifting away from a starbase, with only a few crew members. After learning the ship's location, Alana has to choose between orders and her gut feeling, but one mistake can cost her rank- or even lives. Originally published- sometime in summer 2016... Long after Khan and his crew are sent back into cryosleep, they are reawakened only to be executed. Meanwhile, back on earth before the time of intergalactic space travel, Alexandra Drake longs for any chance to escape from her dull life, to grow and become someone important. It is only after disaster strikes and her wishes granted before she learns to appreciate the life she had. Note: I do not own Star Trek or any of the terms/characters included in that universe. This story however, is my own.
