Jin Da-Ni, a quiet, slight, overseas student from South Korea, works three part-time jobs to afford her course fees and lodgings. By day, she is a final year BSc student who works shifts at the university library as well as offering tuition to younger students; by night, she is a motorcycle courier with hidden martial arts skills that keep her from falling into danger on the city streets. Da-Ni's life is hectic but uncomplicated - until a chance encounter outside an elite nightclub turns her world upside down. ________ Austin Hanwell is the heir to more than his family's lands and titles; he is also due to inherit the whole of Hanwell Group, a massive conglomerate of various businesses, organisations and companies. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he neither recognises the extent of his privilege, nor does he have the manners, humility or respect that befits his station. Arrogance and cynicism radiate from him in waves, so when he tries to buy himself a solution to one of his problems in the form of a stand-in girlfriend, he's confused as to why a poor, struggling girl in Da-Ni's position would turn him down. ________ As her graduation approaches, Da-Ni knows her sponsor in Korea has grown rather silent in the last year. She has already applied for an extension to her student visa, along with sending out applications to various UK universities for post graduate scholarship programmes, as she will not be able to afford the plane ticket home. Then she gets the news that her family is in trouble - she has to go back, no matter what. How will she get the funds? Then, an unusual opportunity pops up - a kind of acting job; all she has to do is pretend to be a rich guy's girlfriend for a few weeks. Uncomfortable with the whole premise, she finds herself against a wall.... Perhaps she should just do it. I mean, how bad could it be...right?
