There's quite a few of these in the fandom, and I have several of my own. However, my brain has decided that instead of working on my several writing projects, we are making another Side Swap AU! In this one, the Light Sides are darker versions of themselves while the Dark Sides are lighter. Virgil, Remus, and Janus have always been accepted by Thomas... While Roman, Patton, and Logan have not. Join Virgil, otherwise known as Awareness, as he investigates a secret the other Light Sides are hiding not only from him... but from Thomas as well.

For years Patton has suffered from nyctophobia (fear of the dark) and insomnia. His brothers helped him sleep as a child, but not that he's moved away from the city it's time to find another solution to his problem. For the past four years, three heroes defended the city. The Jade Merman, The Golden Serpent, and The Amethyst Harpy. They were magical boys that protected the city from fears. Whether it be something as small as stage fright or as dangerous as dealing with a criminal, the three of them could be expected to appear and diffuse the situation. But then, recently, all three of them disappeared. Now, three new heroes have been chosen to take their place, and hopefully find the former heroes. The Sapphire Cyborg, The Ruby Kitsune, and The Aqua-Marine Amphibian. Will these new heroes be able to balance every day responsibilities and their new responsibilities as heroes? Will they be able to find the former trio of heroes? Only time will tell. In the mean time, Roman Prince has started an Origami Club so he can meet with Logan Croft and Patton Foster in secret.

A Sanders Sides College AU (Recommend you be 18+ to read this story, there might be inappropriate themes for minors as the story goes on.) Patton Foster is starting his first year at college! He's really excited, and completely sure that everything is going to go amazingly! Sure, his friend Logan forced him to start going to therapy and he got diagnosed with severe depression, OCD, and a few learning disabilities... Also his friends are going to different colleges and he had to move away from his family to go to college so he's not going to know anyone there... But, hey. It's still going to be great! Patton is determined to make new friends, get the diplomas he needs to be a kindergarten teacher, and maybe even find someone to love and start a family with! Unfortunately, Patton soon discovers that his roommate is Remus Gomez, the twin brother of Patton's best friend. You'd think a familiar face would bring some comfort to Patton, but... Remus has always found a way to get on Patton's last nerve. Still, Patton is determined to enjoy his college years. Even if he'll have to find a way to get along with Remus. Who knows, maybe, just maybe, they might become friends.

Remus, to put it in the most simplified way, is... you know what he is. So when Remus becomes infatuated with Patton, he has a suitably Remus-y way of showing it. None of the sides were particularly worried by this. (After all, it was just Remus being Remus as usual.) Not until Remus and Patton became a couple and Patton claimed it was "cute." Most of the sides' are too bewildered by the whole affair to be worried. But not Logan. At least intrusive thoughts don't have any real impact. That's what Logan tells himself. - If you think anything needs a trigger warning, ask me to add one and I will. Otherwise I'll add trigger warnings as I feel they are needed.

Virgil is a regular highschooler, right? Wrong. He goes through his day entirely trying not to leave the building, and when he does, he covers his entire body, as if he's scared of the outside, leaving Patton concerned. And a concerned Patton leads to telling Logan. Who, coincidentally, has had a crush on Virgil for the last two years.
