In the long since past irk was not as it is now many feared the irken species but few understood why. you see the irkens of ancient time where a peaceful snack loving race, they loved snacks so much that within 100 years they had already discovered and advanced every technology to its limits effectively giving them unlimited galactic power. yet they where seeking something less grand they simply wanted snacks for themselves without having to lift a finger so the original council of irk or the COI created a being capable of monitoring and safely executing snack acquirement programs. this being was known as the control Brains, a dimensionally spanding hyper intelligent care taker droid. however they didn't account for the Droid to be to good at its job and completely destroy irken society and reduce it to a unintelligent ball of useless organic matter. but in recent times after the great events of operation impending doom and the subsequent failure of it and all others the control Brains internal timer has chimed and from it a new class of irken has been born one who's sole role is to lead the irken people to a glorious future. (Spoilers for Enter the Florpus and PASWG S2) After dealing with a grueling defeat from the Hero League, Zim is now on the run from any type of law enforcement seeking his capture. With no chance of hiding himself and very low amounts of tech, the failed Irken Invader decides to lay low in Daten City. And it would just so happen that a passing by Stocking Anarchy found him down on his luck at the local ice cream shop and decided to strike up a conversation with the strange alien. Zim was obviously peeved as hell that a lowly meat worm waa interacting with him, but as soon as he hears about a potential hiding spot in exchange for his assistance in her ghost hunting nonsense, he took the plunge without a single hint of hesitation. Stocking on the other hand was just trying to process the fact that her sister Panty recently dissapeared without leaving a trace to her whereabouts. that is until she found a certain small alien rummaging around behind the back of the old church she called home. The place needed a handy man and Zim needed to avoid tge feds. it's honestly a match made in even. A match that's going to be put the test once a new slew of threats both supernatural and intergalactic. How strong will the two's bond grow? And far does the rabbit hole go when it comes to this urban underground of dangerous oddities?

Basically, Zim does things a little bit better than how he did canotically-or he actually thinks his stuff through instead of winging it. He has a hologram disguise, and so does Gir. His house looks more like a house, and not even Dib sees him as an alien. Dib knows there's an alien, he just knows him as JIM and doesn't know Zim is the alien. Due to an unlikely turn of events, Zim falsely befriends Dib for a diabolical plan to get what he wants... But as we all know, those kind of things can backfire easily, and it does... In the best way. Chaos ensues as Zim trys to avoid getting outed, not just by human kind, but his best friend as well... Learning things along the way... Hope you enjoy. Starts out canon, will delve into offroad quickly. I'm an amazing procrastinator, but I love this idea. Don't be surprised if it never gets updated. Not a ZADR fic, mostly focusing on found family stuff. I see them more like brothers anyway, but take it as you like.
