Allen The Alien needed Mark Grayson help. Yet, besides denying his call for help for various reasons, he placed another fellow citizen of earth to assist his Unopan friend. Niether knew much of each other nor did care the fact each have their own strength or weaknesses. Together, they work as a team or die trying. And failing wasn't an option. During the Invincible War, a maskless Mark from an alternate dimension arrives, searching for his lost love, William, who was killed by Omni-Man in his world. This darker version of Mark, once forced to commit horrific acts alongside Omni-Man, only wants to find William-not destroy. As he helps fight the evil Invincible variants threatening the world, Mark earns the trust of the heroes and forms a bond with this world's William. Together, they rediscover love and healing, offering Mark a second chance at happiness and redemption.

After his defeat earlier in the season, a broken version of Star Swirl the Bearded vows "revenge" on Twilight Sparkle. After traveling to multiple other dimensions to gather variants of Twilight Sparkle willing to fight for him, he unleashes them to cause destruction all across Equestria. Part of an ongoing series. Based heavily on the Invincible War, I do have backstory for this short story; I have a series of unpublished oneshots and shorts based on MLP ships, what-ifs, and "crossovers" like this one. This is part of the [INVINCIBLE] inspired Season 10 series I made a while back. I wanted to upload the others first, but this one is the most interesting, so might as well go in with a bang. Everyone has a variant of themselves. The good, bad, or in-between. What they wish to be or never got to be.
