This is a bunch of very short stories about different League of Legends champions either being corrupted by the Black Mist or choosing to fight the mist as a Sentinel of Light.

A betrayed warrior and an involuntary leader. One seeks vengeance while the other, justice. Both have lost something dear to them, and both became leaders because of that. One has practiced the art of killing and death for most of his life while the other preserves the life of those like her. Both are friends, but both are also enemies. With the Noxian invasion underway, the champions of Ionia have set their cultural differences aside and banded together to fight off the colossal Noxian armies. With no real armies to speak of their own, Ionia is unsurprisingly unprepared, with only a handful of skilled warriors and hardly trained peasants at its disposal. Meanwhile, a Noxian warrior exiled during the invasion found himself solace among the forests of Ionia after having lost everything one way or another. He brings with him the abilities of an excellent soldier and the leadership that could turn the tides of the war. However, only someone dear to him can convince him to turn his back completely on Noxus, and a betrayed warrior is not so easily swayed.
