This is for irishrose's fan fic competition. It leads off near immortality. This is the first of one of two of the shorter versions in my fan fics for Irishrose.

A fanfic for irishrose's Inamorata. An AU in which David is the Inamorato, and Nightingale the government agent.

Anne seems to have it all - at only twenty-five, she's a freelance theatre critic and married to Aaron Harrington, a wealthy businessman one year her junior. But after two years of marriage, the couple realizes something - they can't have children. What ensues is a visit to Dr. Graeme, the doctor at the country's most highly-acclaimed fertility clinic. But what happens when Anne starts to develop feelings for Dr. Graeme that might put her marriage - and her chances of having a baby - on the line?

Short stories of all sorts, from different times and different places. Little tales of love and sorrow, all mixed together. Bits and pieces of my more serious writing, and a place to experiment with new things. Some very mature themes though, I hope, only those I can portray with adequate taste.
