Kya is now taken captive to the Fire Nation and faced with choosing herself over her beliefs. Siding with Azula for a better chance at survival Kya suffers with the torment that if living within the Royal Palace walls, and reminded every day of the pain she's facing for loving Zuko. There are embers the prince cannot quite remember. Lingering embers at the edges of his mind, faint, flickering, just out of reach. Like an itch at the back of his skull, returning again and again, refusing to be ignored. It should be a distraction. It should be a weakness. And yet, it isn't. Because there is something about it. Something ever so alluring. Something that pulls at him in ways the war never has. He is supposed to be hunting the legendary Avatar. Supposed to be reclaiming his honour. Please be aware that I am no professional writer, I do use AI to help me with my writing, so I understand if there are some strong opinions on my book. I do not own any of these character other than my ocs. Also, there will be some episodes from the series that I have missed as they either don't hold much purpose to my character's story development, or I personally just thought that the overall episodes were simply just fillers that override my character's story. For book 1, I did write "the King of Omashu", but the result didn't go as I planned and I decided to just leave the episode along with "The Great Divide" and "The Southern Air Temple". (I have temporarily used Ai to help me with the book cover, but the illustration of my character is mine)

The weight of two banishments doesn't bring Y/N any more closer to anyone especially when she meets Lee and Mushi at the tea shop and finds out what is to come

Nearly a century after the last appearance of Sozin's Comet, Fire Prince Zuko, freshly burned and banished by his father at the young age of thirteen, discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. When Admiral Zhao interferes with Zuko's plans to deliver his prisoner back to Royal Caldera City, to Zuko's surprise, the young Avatar offers to help him and his uncle escape. They take refuge from the Fire Navy in the abandoned Air Temples, where Aang insists on searching for any remnants of his people that he can find. Along the way, the indoctrinated Fire Prince at last begins to learn the truth about the Air Nomads and the War, while the Dragon of the West is forced to face the sins of his warmongering past. As the months go by, the two boys eventually form an unlikely friendship, and Zuko begins to experience confusing feelings that he has never felt for anyone before. However, Zhao will not give up easily, and will do whatever it takes to capture the Avatar and his traitorous accomplices.
