Eastern Bloc setting, post WW2. WW2 slayer's adventures post WW2 under Soviet Occupation. Involves geopolitics of the times, very melodramatic, brutal even, the villains are REALLY villains, I make NO disguises of evil in the story. Historical fiction crossed with Buffy (past). Warnings include extreme brutality in several areas.

Sometimes you don't have to choose where to live, even if you were born and raised in the country, which main value has always been The Freedom. Obuse, violence, and fear may be a reason to run, run as fast and as far away as possible no matter where you are from. In the alternate universe, the USSR has undergone a series of reforms, turning itself into a free economy multi-party socialist state. Several years after the fall of the Iron Curtain, doors of the renewed Soviet Union have opened to anyone willing to visit and anyone willing to leave. What is more, the country remembered and forgave all the refugees and immigrants that had once left it, seeking a shelter from poverty and oppression. In 1989 The White Repatriation or, as it was labeled in the West, The Great Soviet Liberation has become a key to a new home for thousands of people, willing to start a new chapter in their lives.
