Omni Nikos is dead. Beacon Academy has fallen, and Vale has been overrun. Team RWBY is spread across Remnant. Team JNPR and Ruby Rose make their way to Mistral, hoping to find answers and carrying with them the unresponsive shell of Archive. In a place so different yet so similar to his home, a boy returns from the dead with only his oldest friend for company. Omni Nikos, the Huntsman, is dead, yes. But Omni Gold, the Guardian, will rise to fight the Darkness and find a way home.

"The Dark Ages were something you didn't want to live through. The worst in people was always being brought out and some didn't have the will to survive. However, those who wielded the Light and wanted to forge a brighter tomorrow gave people hope, to grasp onto something. It was through wills of iron that we were able to push forward." The story of a lone Exo Titan, before his rebirth as a Guardian by the Traveler, his adventures before and during the Age of Triumph, and his actions during the Red War. NOTE: Destiny and Destiny 2 are the works of Bungie. The concept and universe are not mine.

I have traveled across countless Galaxies and fought against many different foes. I have slaughtered the Vex, the Hive, the Fallen, even the Taken. But there was one alien species that I could not stop thinking about. They originate from Mars, and are some of the strongest enemies I've fought. The Cabal. The Cabal are a brutal and sophisticated alien race from the planet Mars. I have researched and with that, combined with my experience in the front lines, I can shed some light on this dangerous foe. This book is written for a specific purpose. To inform Guardians and keep it out of the Cabal's hands, for I know their secrets. The Cabal will no doubt attempt to destroy this book. This is a tale from before the Chosen One awoke and killed the Black Gardens Heart through the Dark Times into the stories of Episode: Heresy. A young fireteam will rise and become legends as a new generation of Iron Lords. But first, we must tell of each of their beginnings... Omni Nikos is dead, slain by the arrow of the False Maiden atop the broken tower of Beacon. After he passed, though, a strange event took fold. The paracasual force of Light, in its first act since before the creation of the Brother Gods, took hold of the broken boy and sent him across time and alternate universes to an old, yet also new, world. Omni Nikos, student of Beacon Academy, has fallen... But Omni Gold, Guardian of Light, will rise... And all that is Dark shall feel the fury of his Light.
