I have traveled across countless Galaxies and fought against many different foes. I have slaughtered the Vex, the Hive, the Fallen, even the Taken. But there was one alien species that I could not stop thinking about. They originate from Mars, and are some of the strongest enemies I've fought. The Cabal. The Cabal are a brutal and sophisticated alien race from the planet Mars. I have researched and with that, combined with my experience in the front lines, I can shed some light on this dangerous foe. This book is written for a specific purpose. To inform Guardians and keep it out of the Cabal's hands, for I know their secrets. The Cabal will no doubt attempt to destroy this book. In my travels across the Sol System, I have never seen a species as mysterious and cryptic as these. A strange fluid like organism that has shed whatever organic shell it may or may not have had for a mechanical one eons ago. I've compiled my research into the pages of this book. Our foe, if I can even call them that, may already know of its existence and if they do, they will attempt to erase the pages. How will we know when that happens? That's the trick question. We won't. Because the pages were never written.
