Part of a series I am working on called underneath glitter and gold. It's been two years since the 'Civil War'. The rogue avengers arrive back home but are in for a rude awakening. With unforgiving civilizens, new faces in the compond, an an unexpected surprise leads to an unexpected realization about a certain Iron Maiden.

An attempt to create a full cohesive story to connect all of the covers of Iron Maiden's albums (excluding a few) by making a backstory for Eddie and how he gets himself into every different situation that we see him in.

"I hope I'm not going to have to pick you up from juvenile detention ever again do you understand me! You are lucky you got parole." the birth giver spoke. "is that clear?" she asked after she pulled me towards her by yanking my hair while I nodded not really caring. I grabbed for a water bottle as she continued speaking "good because we are moving and if I here you even starting trouble again I'm getting rid of your trust fund." and with that I spit me water out. "WHAT! YOU CANT DO THAT!" I finally yelled back. "I can and I will. You could also forget your things like your bike, your car, and oh my personal favorite your bong. You will be good you understand?" she threatened me while I just nodded this was total bullshit. .....Looks like I'm going to have to be the "good daughter" my mother always wanted... For now anyways. ******* Leigh Ryder not the likely female yes she's smart with a GPA of 3.8 but she is no good girl..not anymore anyway. After moving to her beloved New York she will try to go back to her sweet little innocent ways much like when she was a sophomore but a lot has changed over the past few years. Going back to high school for her senior year 2 months late, she gets some unwanted attention. Will she be able to play the good girl or has she finally met her match. *******

Over a year has passed since the biggest threat to the world, Shadow, was killed. Emma, now known as ,,The Shadow Slayer" is still dealing with the loss of her friends. She blames herself for sacrificing one of her best friends and can't forgive herself. Everything changes when she meets an old prophet who offers her a chance to save her old friend. In order to do that though, she must join forces with a murderer who has been sentenced to death. Little does she know what their new alliance will bring. The only thing she has for now is a name... And that name is Edward the Head. (Story inspired by Iron Maiden's work, go check 'em out if you haven't yet!)
