He didn't choose this. He never chose to end up here. He certainly never chose to get too close. But then again he was dropped at 2008, and he didn't choose that either. *** "I'm not drunk" he slurred Peter didn't turn to look at him, he used his broom to clean Tony's fifth beer that peter 'accidentally' caused to fall. He's heard of these nights from happy, he knows, he knows tony is dying. He knows tony still didn't discover Badassium He just didn't know it was this bad. but alas, what can he do? at least that was his thought process before he was dragged across the tower by his drunk-dead, now half dying mentor rambling about how smart he is.

"I don't know what's worse; having lost everyone close to you, or the potential of losing them." A moment of silence between the two hung for a few seconds. "Potential," he responded. "What?" she said, looking up, surprised to find that he was speaking again. He hadn't said a lot during the exchange. "When they're dead, it hurts," he explained. "But at least you know that nothing can hurt them anymore." The Elemental isn't an ordinary kid. She's isolated herself and made herself forget the names of everyone important to her. Why? She doesn't want to endanger them. At just eight years of age, she discovered strange powers that she was told to keep a secret. Over the next eight years, she found herself capable of more and more, until she blew her own cover trying to help people, was rejected, and disappeared. Her self-set life's purpose is to save a reluctant Earth. She made a name for herself in the course of a year, and was noticed by a team of people that the world recognized as heroes. Once with them, the Elemental has become a target of someone only she can truly destroy.

Everyone called her crazy, they all knew the risks of what she was doing, especially if Hydra were to find out. Yet she does it anyways.
