THE BOOK IS MUCH BETTER THAN THIS DESCRIPTION. I'M NOT GOOD AT DESCRIBING MY BOOKS :P So, don't give up on it! (: I'm Vintage Halloway, and I'm a seventeen year old attending a former Los Angeles High school. If you were wondering, my stereotype is perfectionist; cliche, I know. Anyways, when I was born, my father was totally MIA, meaning he had left me and my older brother, Jonah, with our depressed mother. I guess it doesn't hurt him anymore, since dad left when he was three. But, it still hurts me, and I guess that's why I don't trust any man. It's sort of a cliche that I think they'll leave, but who could blame me? But at school, I hide that skeleton in my closet, and become everything a girl would want to be, and everything a guy would want to have. At school, I'm popular, and REALLY popular at that. I have the perfect smile, perfect hair, perfect life; in their eyes'. But it's only one person that unfortunately sees through my disguise: Alec Evans. He has this (absolutely correct and dead on) hunch that my life isn't what it seems. And being who I am, I deny every word. But, he's out to get me. He's the school's bad boy/player; cliche, right? I couldn't talk. He's got expelled 3 times in the last 4 years before he came to our school, and I can see why. Anyways, I'm trying not to let him realize the truth, but will he become a part of my life? A corny cliffhanger, and a cliche, but whatever. Or, will i fall for Nolan? Follow me throughout this tough journey that is my life. And we'll find out--together--if the cliche of love is worth fighting for.
